as: (1) I couldn't keep it on my finger; & (2) I just couldn't feel what
I was sewing. Over the years I gradually acheived a reinforced leather thimble that I was happy to use & wear. Not only was I happy with my thimble, I found other people were too, as I was constantly being asked if I could make a thimble for them. So approximately two years ago "Maray's Nimble Thimble" officially came into being.
